My past work experience has been as a self-employed bookkeeper working for individuals managing their financial and office business. In 2008 I began practicing Reiki, and becoming a Reiki Master/Instructor in 2016. Bringing Reiki into my life has brought me great faith. Practicing Reiki gives me a calming aura, with patience and trust in the universe that surrounds me. By practicing Reiki daily and following Reiki’s simple ethical ideals I strive to bring peace and harmony into my life and the lives of those around me.
As a Reiki Master/Practitioner
I help people to move towards balance and wholeness by using a simple relaxation technique which activates the body’s natural healing response.
As a Reiki Master/Instructor
I guide people to reconnect with their inner magic teaching students in Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho.
As a Volunteer
I enjoy sharing Reiki at Hospice Muskoka, Andy’s Place. It is a wonderful Hospice and as much as I give I get back.
I am a member and volunteer with The Reiki Alliance, an international organization of Reiki Masters. Along with being the Canadian Local Representative to TRA I also send out the Organigram for the US. My favorite experience is being on the Membership Committee and getting to know new applicants.
Monthly I hold a Reiki Clinic at Bracebridge United Church to support the health of locals. All funds raised are donated to the church.
I have always had a great love for creativity. For the past 30 plus years I have had a passion for designing and creating quilts as well as knitting, loving the colours, designs, fabrics and yarns. Also, I enjoy planning and building gardens to attract birds and all varieties of nature.
